Newcomers
You have just arrived in Spain and need the NIE for any procedure.
Administrative procedures
The NIE (Numero de Identidad de Extranjero) is the tax identification number every foreigner needs in order to buy property, open a bank account, sign before a notary or pay tax in Spain. You apply at a National Police station with a prior appointment or, from abroad, at a Spanish consulate; it can also be obtained through a representative holding a power of attorney, so you never have to travel. Asistenio prepares the paperwork, books the appointment and follows the file until the NIE is issued.
We tell you exactly what is needed, prepare the application and follow the procedure to the end.

We start by reviewing your specific situation, as requirements vary depending on your nationality and the purpose of the application.
